Ayurveda is the science of life. This 5,000 year old wisdom offers a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Rooted in the laws of Nature, it recognizes that cultivating balance is part of a dynamic ecosystem of relationships. When one is in right relationship - to one’s senses, to food and nourishment, to mental narratives and belief systems, to community and loved ones, to dharma or ultimately to one’s Self - the individual can thrive and tap into their fullest potential.
As an integrative approach, Ayurveda offers practices for harmony and resilience in mind, body and Soul. It recognizes that when dis-ease appears in one part, it will mirror the disconnect in other parts. When anxiety and stress arise in the mind, the body will speak through a range of symptoms (think restless sleep, elevated heart rate, irregular digestion and more). Ayurveda teaches the individual how to recognize imbalances as they appear and empower self healing through daily practice, diet, lifestyle and ritual. Through the art of refined awareness, Ayurveda reveals the subtle ways to manage one’s energy and promote an environment of integration and fullest health.
