Yoga For Burnout - Pitta Grounding Flow
Enjoy a slow, grounding yoga flow intended to invite more softening and surrender into your practice. Our modern world is often asks for more of us; it pulls our attention and energy in many directions, encourages ceaseless ambition and striving to be something that is ultimately not human. This is a practice of aparigraha - letting go {of the tendency to do it all, spreading oneself thin, control the outcome} and nurturing santosha - contentment and allowing of what is. This is for refilling your reservoir of resources, supporting your nervous system and ultimately a pitta pacifying flow ideal for moments of burnout and depletion.
What to expect: A slower practice, with emphasis on savoring the movement. Ground with inner and outer hip opening postures and some delicious IT band stretches. Release excess heat and invite greater breath through side bends and lateral stretches. We incorporate Tree Pose - Vrksanana, Figure 4 Pose, Pigeon, and Gomukhasana.
Filmed in Vedauwoo, Wyoming.
